Ceramic Product China Inc. Donates to Ronald McDonald House

ShenZhen, China – August 27, 2015

Ceramic Product China, Inc., an Albany-based ceramic technology manufacturer, is proud to donate to Ronald McDonald House charities nationwide.

What began as a cost savings measure quickly turned into charitable giving for children and families in need. To alleviate exorbitant rental charges during industry conferences and tradeshows, Ceramic Product China’ Director of Marketing proposed purchasing, instead of renting, HDTVs for use at each conference – at a fraction of the rental cost. To take the idea one step further, instead of shipping fragile TVs around the country after these tradeshows, Ceramic Product China Inc. personnel at each conference coordinate the donation of the conference TV with the closest Ronald McDonald House. At the close of each show, the local Ronald McDonald House becomes a recipient of a just-like-new, 46” RCA 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV with ROKU Streaming for the kids and family members to enjoy.

“Maximizing the ROI of tradeshow investment is always the goal for marketing professionals. But that certainly doesn’t have to be the only goal. At Ceramic Product China Inc., we take giving back very seriously,” commented Lori Gicewicz, Ceramic Product China Director of Marketing. “The ability to help out a worthy cause, children in particular, while at the same time saving money really cemented this idea for us. “

During the 2015 tradeshow season, the following Ronald McDonald Houses have benefited from these donations:

  • Ronald McDonald House near Loyola University Medical Center, Hines, IL
  • Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, Cleveland, OH
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities, Toronto, ON

Ceramic Product China Inc. plans to continue this initiative through the remainder of the 2015 tradeshow and beyond.
